What is covered by our guarantee and what isn't

The above photo clearly shows a broken Dita Mega Pro. It's not a pretty sight. But we replaced the stick immediately.

The photo to the left is Teun de Nooijer's actual stick. It is a detail of a larger action photo. The head is worn because Teun uses his stick. The stick is definitely not broken. The paint loss is entirely cosmetic and more a sign that he knows where to hit the ball. You will notice that the greatest paint loss is in the "sweet spot". This is good, not bad.

What is Covered:

Dita will repair or replace your stick if it is broken during the normal course of play within three months of purchase.

If you purchase your stick through this web site, your sales record is automatically cached. Otherwise, keep a copy of your sales receipt for verification.

Although rare, defective workmanship sometimes occur. Dita will replace any visibly broken stick within the warranty period. A visibly broken stick is defined as one that would be considered unfit for match play by an umpire.

EXAMPLES of broken sticks include: A stick which the head or a large portion of has detached or come off. A handle or shaft that is in two pieces.

NOT COVERED:

Generally, a stick will not be replaced or repaired for superficial, cosmetic damage that are the result of routine play. Such damage does not affect the play of the stick. If you bought a new car and it was bumped into in a parking lot, would the auto dealer replace your car?

EXAMPLES: chips, scratches, nicks, "invisible cracks", vibrations, unraveling grips, cracks or flaking of the label, worn stick heel, or any result of normal use. The above will not affect the play of the stick.

THE DITA WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THREE MONTHS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE.
